Today I come to talk about an anime that I am super hooked lately. This anime is called Fate Zero.
First of all, this anime belongs to the world of Fate in general and is the second that I see, because the first you must see to start the saga, is Fate Stay Night, 2006.
Fate Stay Night
Fate Stay Night tells the development of the Fourth Holy War Grail, a religious object with magical properties that, supposedly, grants you everything you want if you get it. The way to get it is something more complicated. First, the Holy Grail itself chooses seven magicians (three of them are usually from the founding families, Einzbern, Tohsaka and Matou) to fight among themselves and thus achieve the sacred object. To fight, each one must invoke with his magic a spirit in which a historical hero is reincarnated.
Those are all the servants in Fate Stay Night:
For example, Emiya Shirou, one of the seven magicians, invokes his servant, and he appears before him. His name is Saber and in his previous life he was King Arthur. Emiya and Saber end up falling in love.

Rin Tohsaka, another of the magicians and protagonists of the story, is an expert in jewel magic and participates in the war with the help of her servant: Archer.

I highly recommend watching Fate Stay Night because it's a very entertaining and action-packed anime, but the series that really is worth it is Fate Zero.
Fate Zero
In this part of the world of Fate, the Third War of the Holy Grail is counted, ten years before the events that occur in Fate Stay Night. Here appear characters from Fate Stay Night as children, as Rin Tohsaka, and 'servants' or spirits as Saber or Gilgamesh, the king of heroes.

New servants also appear, such as Blue Beard, a villain or Lancer, who in his previous life was a hero of Irish mythology. Lancer is my favorite character because of his nobility and power.

I leave a photo in which all the servants of Fate Zero appear:
Many of the wizards who fight in this Third War are the parents of the protagonists of Fate Stay Night, like the father of Rin Tohsaka: Tokiomi Tohsaka, whose 'servant' is Gilgamesh. Also appears the adoptive father of Emiya Shirou: Emiya Kiritsugu, whose 'servant' is Saber; or Kotomine Kirei, an executor who is responsible for killing magicians.
