DEAN

Dean, although his real name is Kwon Hyuk, is a South Korean composer, singer and rapper who debuted in 2015 both in Korea and in the United States as a soloist. He composes and sings songs of the R & B genre since he was 15 years old, and now, with 25 years old, he is a very famous artist in his country and in many countries.

Dean has made songs with many Korean artists. Many of them are Heize, Crush or ZICO, which is another of my favorite soloists.

Dean is a great artist, not only because of his voice and how much his songs are hooked, but because of the lyrics of these. Also,  all the ballads and raps he plays are his work.

One of his most recent songs is 'Instagram'. With this composition, Dean pretended to talk about the sick way in which social networks are collapsing the world and who hasn't bored at some point and has ended directly in this application, with nothing to think about except on the photos of some famous or one of the people he follows? Basically, he wanted to sing about the feeling that invaded him when he opens one of his social networks, because he felt empty, and doing something mechanically, as if it were something automatic.

Many of his songs have an important background on society or love. Another of my favorite ballads of Dean is 'What 2 Do', which sings with Crush and Jeff Bernat.

Since his debut, he has participated in some other Korean music and rap programs, such as 'Show me the money 6', in which he teamed up with ZICO. I leave below a video of one of the presentations he offered with ZICO and another rapper in this program.

In addition, he is part of a group with ZICO, Crush and PENOMECO; The group is called Fanxy Child. One of his most recent songs is 'Paradise'.

He has also made his own programs, in which he sang much of his repertoire with live bands. For example, he did this with this performance of 'I'm not sorry' and 'Bonnie & Clyde', or this one from '21'.

Dean is a totally independent soloist, since he has an agency and record company, but he makes songs without any ties and hasn't released any album or record. Although, if he did it, I'd love to hear it :)
I hope you enjoyed my little introduction to Dean, one of the best voices I've ever heard. Also, he's a beautiful person and really nice with everybody.
