First of all, this song opens a new world full of dark concepts and self-esteem problems. BTS has decided to cover these issues in their next album since they already talked about love in the previous one and how important it’s to love yourself always.
Now they want to approach love but from another point of view darker and more painful, because love isn’t always beautiful and pleasant. Love can lead you to make mistakes and it becomes painful sometimes.
They also want to talk about loving themselves and how necessary this is if you want to love another person completely.
The lyrics are very deep and talk about the anguish and pain of not knowing who you are or what you want. He also talks about the suffering of losing someone you loved for not being strong enough.
In my opinion, this is going to be a great album for the group, since the song of "Singularity" (of a genre similar to R & B) has a very attractive dark and mysterious tone. In addition, V's voice is perfect for this concept.
Another thing that I love about this song is the choreography that it has. It hits a lot with the music and tries to convey many things.
